Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous

On January 4th, 1984, at the first Fellowship-Wide Service Conference, S.L.A.A., those sex and love addicts who had been returned to sanity and usefullness in human society and community through this program judged that this book carried thier message of hope and recovery truthfully enough to be the basic text of Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, capable of helping those still suffering form this illness.

Those of us who have lived this book from its beginning know that its real worth will not be guaged primarily by mental health professionals or literary critics. The merit of this message will be most measured by those who are helped by it. It is our hope that the truth of the message will speak through the inevitable limitations of the messengers. We offer it in deep grattitude for the gift of recovery, for the experience of personal dignity, which has come to us through this Fellowship, bestowed by a Power greater than ourselves.
